Tests

Latency Test

Measure how fast you react to a visual or an audio signal. Four variants: Visual + Mouse, Visual + Keyboard, Audio + Mouse and Audio + Keyboard, with touch in place of the mouse on a phone. Each runs five trials with random delays, and a false start reruns the trial. Results show every time and the average, with the audio buffer delay subtracted from the audio variants.

Precision Test

Hit targets at random positions and sizes. Measures hits, misses, accuracy and reaction time. Sessions of 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds.

Memory Test

A 3x3 grid flashes a pattern of squares — repeat it in order as it grows. Easy, Medium and Hard control flash speed, delay and pattern complexity.

Polling Rate Test

Measures the report rate of your touchscreen or mouse in Hz. Keep moving while the app timestamps every input event. On Windows and Linux the mouse is read through raw input, in Auto, Raw or Framework mode, and the result names the nearest standard rate.
