We decide what happens to the data this website and our apps hold, which makes us the controller for it. This page covers the website and what the apps have in common. Where an app needs a policy of its own, because it holds more than the rest or holds something unusual, that policy is linked from the app's page here and from its listing in the app stores.

Visiting this website: nothing that identifies you. The web server keeps short-lived logs with IP addresses, which we use to keep the site up and to deal with abuse.

Using an app: it depends on the app. Some run entirely on your device and send us nothing at all. Others have an account, and then we hold the email address and the name you signed up with, and what you enter in the app so that it is still there on your next phone. If you buy a subscription we hold the receipt identifiers the app stores hand us. We never receive your card details; Apple and Google keep those.

To give you the service you asked for, which is the agreement between us. To keep that service working, secure and free of abuse, which is our legitimate interest. To keep the records that tax and accounting law oblige us to keep.

The providers that make the service run, and nobody else: the company that hosts our servers, and Apple and Google when you buy a subscription through their stores. An app that needs an outside service to do its job names that service in its own policy. None of them may use your data for their own ends, and none of them buy it from us.

We count visits to this website with Plausible, which runs on our own server. It sets no cookies, it collects nothing personal, and the numbers never leave our machines. Where an app reports how much it is used, that goes to our own server in the same way. We use no third-party analytics service, and there are no tracking SDKs in our apps.

This website sets no cookies, so there is no banner here for you to click away. An app may keep things on your own device so that it works offline; that stays on your device and we never see it.

Account data for as long as you have the account, and it goes when you delete the account. Server logs for a short time. Purchase records for as long as tax law says we must keep them.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for it in a form you can take elsewhere, and object to the way we use it. Write to info@4apps.lv and we will answer. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate, Datu valsts inspekcija.
